Jeremiah 29:11-13
Most young people wonder what kind of future they will have; but when you are serving god, god says, " FOR I KNOW THE THOUGHTS THAT I THINK TOWARD YOU, says the lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope"( v.11). What an incredible promise God is giving to his people!
It doesn't matter what kind of home we came from, what neighborhood we grew up in, how much money our parents had, or what race or nationality we belong to. God has a future for us if we will trust and follow Him. God has a plan for our lives and a purpose. Wewere created for a reason.
Ifwe serve God and seek His direction, we can be confident that He will give us a future. Things may look bleak out in the world with unemployment, job cutbacks, industries going under, and government budgets out of control; but God has promised to take care of His people if they follow Him.
